At Miller McConnell Signs, we are always upgrading and acquiring the latest production equipment to provide our customers with the best possible custom sign solutions.
Large Format Printing
We currently have two large-format, solvent-based inkjet colour printers in our sign production facilities, which can print on many types of media, including mesh and vinyl banner, pressure-sensitive vinyl, paper, polystyrene, specialty fabrics and artist canvas.
Solvent-based inks offer superior adhesion and durability – even when left untreated, our signs are still fade, scratch, smear and crack resistant for up to three years. Our printers also enable a higher concentration of colourants in the ink, producing a wider range of rich, vivid, unsaturated colours.
We also have versatile laminating machines to provide additional protection to large-format prints when long-term durability is needed.
Small-Format Printing and Custom Decals
We utilize a variety of small-format thermal printers and vinyl cutters, allowing us to print on pressure-sensitive vinyl and facilitate contour cutting of vinyl letters, decals and labels of any shape or size. Our state-of-the-art cutters can also be used in the creation of more traditional signs, as well.
Complete Engraving and Braille Sign Production Capabilities
We are one of the only sign companies in Eastern Ontario to have in-house Braille and raised image sign manufacturing capabilities.
Our high quality router and engraving machine meets all Canadian and American disabilities standards and can accurately engrave into a variety of materials, including wood, acrylic, Plexiglas, Corian and many other types of plastics and metals. We can also create and engrave 3D logos, lettering and signage from a variety of different materials, including custom wood and metal signs.
